Founding clients: the offer, and why.
We launched in 2026. First 5 clients get 30% off for 6 months in exchange for sharing their story. Here's what's involved — and what we want back.
The numbers at baseline. What was working, what wasn't, and where the pipeline was leaking.
Three moves that actually shifted the pipeline. No fourteen-point plan — just the moves that mattered.
Same spreadsheet, ninety days later. Honest read, not a victory lap.
We started BuiltPipeline in early 2026. Which means we have a real problem — we haven't been around long enough to show you a case study from a builder who looks like you.
We could make some up. Plenty of agencies do. You've probably spotted them on LinkedIn: "3× pipeline growth in 60 days" with no named client and a stock photo of a handshake. We'd rather not.
The founding-client offer, plainly
We've got 5 slots reserved for builders willing to be our first real case studies. The deal is simple, and it's the same for everyone:
- 30% off the monthly fee — for your first 6 months. Foundations drops from £1,800/month to £1,260/month. Accelerate from £3,500 to £2,450. Same deliverables, same team, same minimum term.
- In exchange, three things. We get permission to publish a proper written case study at month 4 with your numbers and name. We ask for a 60–90 second phone-recorded video testimonial, same time. We ask for one verified review on Trustpilot and Google at month 3.
- You keep the work. Website, content, ad accounts, local SEO pages — all on your domain, your hosting, your accounts. If you cancel at the end of month 6, you walk away with the lot. We don't hold anything hostage.
What we're not going to pretend
Month 1, your phone won't ring more than it already does. SEO is a slow business and ads need a fortnight of data before the spend actually sorts itself. Month 2, you'll see early signs — a handful of direct Google enquiries, some click-through from the local pages as they start being indexed.
Month 3 is where the math starts to tell. By then we've got enough data to honestly say whether the pipeline is lifting or whether we need to change the plan. If it isn't working, we say so. You haven't locked into anything you can't walk out of at month 6.
Who we think this is right for
You're running a building firm turning over roughly £500k–£3m. You do real work — extensions, loft conversions, kitchens, basements — at a £20k+ average ticket. You've got a reputation locally but your website looks like it was built in 2014 and your Google Business Profile is half-empty. You've tried Checkatrade and it pays for itself but barely. You'd rather not hire a part-time marketer because you've been burned before and you don't have the time to manage one.
If that reads like you, there's a decent chance we can help.
Who it isn't right for
Builders doing sub-£5k jobs on volume — we're the wrong kit for that. Firms that want a one-off website build with no ongoing work — we don't do that anymore, because we've seen too many websites go stale the moment the project ends. Firms that want us to fix the sales process too — we do marketing, not training on quoting and closing. If the phone is ringing but you're not winning the work, that's a different conversation.
How to find out if you're a fit
A 30-minute call, no pitch, no PDF homework. If we can help, we'll say how. If we can't, we'll say so — and usually point you at a UK freelancer or another firm that fits better. We'd rather lose the retainer than string anyone along.
The 5 slots are genuine. Once they're gone, pricing returns to the normal tiers and case studies will be in hand.
“No case studies yet. That's the point. You'd be one.”
